July 2008 - What a great find this was! Located in a very quiet community on the Arm, this B & B is run by a retired couple on the husband’s acreage he bought from his parents. They claimed in their advertisement we would arrive as customers and leave as friends. They were very friendly and helpful and we definitely enjoyed our stay. The two rooms in their house, usually available to customers for $45, were occupied by visiting family, and so we took one of the two rooms in the motel on the premises. The room had two queen beds and a full ensuite bath. Interestingly, the motel building used to be the general store for the small town back when the owner’s parents lived in Norris Arm. Everything was very clean, and an evening snack, as well as a full breakfast was included for $65. There was a barbeque available for use, and they even welcomed small pets (which has been the opposite to most B&B’s we’ve stayed at). Only a couple of minutes away from the beach, we had the choice of sitting on the little patio to watch the variety of birds at their feeder, or to walk down to the beach and enjoy the evening air. They even had a thrift store for the church on the premises, and a small craft store filled with locals’ work. This was a fun stop on our trip and highly recommended as a place to plop.

August 2007 - What at wonderful and quaint Bed and Breakfast. We found it through a friend and are we glad we did. We spent several nights there in the small Motel Unit. We would get up each morning and enjoy home cooked breakfast next door at the main B&B..
The hospitality provided by the owner/operators is First class...They went out of their way to ensure our comfort. cleaning baths, bedroom, linens daily and preparing wholesome bacon and eggs, fresh fruit and other delightful foods each morning .
Alderburn B&B is in Norris Arm North, tucked away so that you can enjoy the peace and solitude of a good nights sleep, after a hardy day being a tourist, or if you are just passing through.
