June 2007 - My fiance & I recently had the pleasure of staying at Moeller's B&B for 3 consecutive nights and found our stay to have been most welcome & enjoyable. The Moeller's (including their adorable youngest, little Max) did their utmost to ensure our holiday was relaxing and rejuvenating. One of our Highlights included the scrumptious breakfast in the garden gazebo (I absolutely LOVED this idea) while listening the the birds' morning concert - we actually interrupted our meal to take some pictures of several bald eagles soaring over the house. Mr. Moeller even took the time to show us one of the nests (and the newly hatched young) on their property. We also had the pleasure to enjoy the scrambled eggs from their own chickens - so different from the pale blend one usually eats at a restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and served within a convenient timeframe. Claudia (Mrs. Moeller) was most considerate when it came to our dietary restrictions. To make sure we weren't bored with breakfast, she even cooked up some of her YUMMY european-style crepes. A continental selection is of course available, if you prefer.
Another highlight was the get-together with Roland (Mr. Moeller) after breakfast to plan our itinerary. This included restaurant tips, driving directions and other insider knowledge, such as suggestions on how to see some moose (the reccommended Skyline Trail was SUPERB), instructions on how to find waterfalls not mentioned in the traditional tourist guides, etc.
The rooms were cool, quiet and well-appointed. The B&B is conveniently situated within driving distance to all major attractions and activities. All in all we had an outstanding experience.
