"Good coffee, great deck"
8.50
by Cleo (from Calgary)
July 2007 - We were in Rossland in July and popped into the Grind Coffee House (located in a cool old building on the corner of Rossland two main streets - Columbia Avenue and St. Paul Street) for an iced coffee and a chat.

The good - the coffee shop has a nice atmosphere - local art displayed on its walls, a few smaller nooks with a sofa and comfy chairs and a great deck outside overlooking the valley. We didn't have anything to eat but there were definite lunch options, not just the usual scones and muffins that are on offer at a lot of coffee houses.

The not-so-good - being on the corner of the town's busiest streets (one of them a steep hill) mean that the peaceful ambiance of this sweet little shop is somewhat ruined by the pull of truck engines coming up the hill. Perhaps it is improved in winter when not so many construction rigs are out and about.

Still...worth a visit for the yummy coffee!
