July 2007 - We stumbled onto this place looking for wireless access while spending a few days in Rossland this summer and returned each day - for more coffee and the general laid-back, yet trendy atmosphere of the establishment.
The coffee company shares a space with a tapas and wine bar in the Old Fire Hall, a 1900s building which has only recently been renovated and opened. The renovation and pairing the two businesses together in one space has been well-designed and adds to the general atmosphere.
The Rossland Coffee Company is in a corner of the building where beans are roasted on site which means the place has the great aroma of freshly-roasted coffee. And since they are open at different hours, the coffee shop and wine bar share a general seating area in the main part of the fire hall - posh tables and chairs, sofas, lots of light coming through the windows - overall a great space and a great coffee place.
