| "Cool booths, cool burgers" |

February 2008 - On a recent weekend while skiing at Fernie, we popped into the Brick House for dinner with friends. The large, rounded booths create a great space and are especially handy for groups of five or more and the gourmet burgers are yummy!

January 2008 - It was time to get dinner and we didn’t want to cook. Our mother-in-law was paying, so we wanted to go to a nice but not too expensive place in town. The Brickhouse bar and grill was our choice and it was perfect. On a Sunday evening after the crowds of the weekend have returned home, Fernie and probably most of its establishments return to the sleepy, quiet ambience that greeted us at the Brickhouse bar and grill. I’m not usually into places with large TV screens, but I found my eyes drawn to the incredible antics of the snowmobilers on show, perhaps it’s all about what is being televised.
The girl who served us was very friendly and happy to give recommendations and suggestions about what to eat and drink. We opted for the blue burger, a beef patty with blue cheese that was tasty and the BC burger, a salmon and beetroot combination with quite a hot spicy zing to it. Perhaps the contents of the burger were a little small but they both went down well with the recommended jug of Kokanee beer. i'd be happy to return and try out the other menu options too.
