March 2008 - After a long hard day of skiing and riding I’d fully recommend the Whitetooth Mountain Bistro in Golden. Following a little shopping we asked locally for a recommendation and were directed towards the bistro. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very understanding of the two little girls with us and their requests for water from the ‘water lady’. The risotto I ordered with pine nuts and feta cheese was delicious and the tuna melt one of my dining companions had was equally as good. We ate in a lively atmosphere with subdued lighting that was well to my liking and then took the left over pasta dishes from the kids home for lunch the next day. The place was clean and the check considerably smaller than we would have expected for the quality of food and environment. All in all I would definitely like to return to this little gem.

March 2008 - After a day of riding at Kicking Horse, we asked a couple of locals where we could eat that wasn't too nice (we were still in our snow gear) but that wasn't too shoddy either and were sent the way of the Whitetooth Bistro. At first, it seemed like it was more than we wanted but the food was excellent and the upscale yet casual atmosphere somehow seemed to easily incorporate romantic dinners for two, families and groups of skiers all at the same time. And the best part was that the cheque was about half of what I expected. A great bistro!
