September 2006 - I was feeling a bit indecisive about what to have for dinner, so I decided to try Mannie's, because their sign said they offered "Pizza, Roti & Steak". Once I walked in the door, it was clear from the yummy smells and the decor that Indian food was the way to go. I tried the dinner special of Chicken Thali. I'm note sure exactly what was in it, besides chicken, but it was delicious. And it arrived on a giant square metal plate that was kind of like a TV dinner / bento box. It had five different compartments - one each for salad, homemade yogurt, squash curry, rice and the main course. With roti on the side as well, I was stuffed!
Service was great. Mannie himself was the only waiter there, and he obviously cares a lot about the food and his restaurant.
