March 2008 - We stopped in Kimberley for lunch on our way north to Radium Hot Springs. It has a quaint Bavarian theme to the town centre where we stretched our legs and then we pumped for Terry’s Place (Soup ‘n such) as it looked busy in what seemed like a very quiet downtown Kimberley. It was full with lots of locals and a couple of other family’s enjoying the tasty fare. The décor was simple and functional and the wait staff were friendly. The Reuben sandwich and fries that I chose filled the gap very nicely. The tuna melt and corned beef sandwiches also were a success with the rest of the family. The only criticism of the service is that they brought the four adult dishes first and then followed them with the two children’s. The other way around would have been preferable for the peace and tranquility of the atmosphere!
