October 2007 - While on a recent getaway to Radium Hot Springs, we decided to try the Back Country Jacks restaurant for supper, as we had come here a year ago and it was wonderful. Well, it sure stood up to our last visit. Everything on the menu is BBQ’D to your desire. It is actually cooked on their outdoor barbeque. The terrific friendly and very helpful staff made us feel so welcome. This is a quaint western style restaurant with lots of 1900’s artifacts adorning the walls. There are lots of choices on their menu. My dining partner and I both ordered steaks and they were done to perfection. They were so incredibly tender and juicy. The vegetables and baked beans were delicious and mouth watering. They have specials of the day and the evening we were there, it was all you can eat ribs. We saw lots of local people coming in for the specials. We will definitely be back to Back Country Jacks in the future.

August 2006 - I was in Radium for business and needed a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Back Country Jacks was conveniently located just off the highway with ample parking out front. It looked like the kind of place that would have good hearty food and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. The sandwich was good but the fries were amazing. Hands down the best I have ever had. If you go, skip the healthy salad and go for the fries!
