March 2008 - The front desk staff go beyound service. They did not have any rooms left and the one clerk went as far as to call other accommodations to find us a room.
The next time we went through we tried the Powder Springs Inn & Spa and they had a room. Again the front staff were wonderful, the room was clean, the pub was dark but we had a great time. The buffet breakfast was unbelieveable and the waitress was perfect.

October 2007 - Too tired to make it all the way to Vancouver, we stopped in Revelstoke for the night. We found Powder Springs as we passed by through the downtown area. The queen-sized room cost us $80 (without tax) and we were pleasantly surprised to find that included breakfast. The place seemed huge, and our room was pretty spacious too. The decor is pleasant enough, nothing fancy, and our room was very comfortable. The bed was huge and we slept like babies. An extensive buffet breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs and includes eggs, sausages, toast, pancakes, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. It all looked so good that I wanted a bit of everything! Breakfast is pretty important to me, and it was definitely good value. Unfortunately the large dining room was really busy and crowded so we had to eat in the adjacent bar area with the smokers. Ew.
