May 2008 - We stopped here one day while travelling in B.C. It’s located right at the Rogers Pass on the highway. This was a great spot to stop for a rest and to get some much needed good home cooked food. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who suggested the special of the day soup and sandwich. We opted on that and we were not disappointed at all. The soup was minestrone and the sandwich was grilled cheese. What a delicious old fashioned style lunch, just like Mom used to make. The soup was hot and fresh tasting with plump pasta and loads of vegetables. The sandwiches were grilled to perfection with lots of cheddar cheese. The pot of steaming green tea really hit the spot. We were definitely pleased with our lunch and the service and we will be back again on our next trip through B.C.
