September 2007 - Thought that I Might take a Moment to say that My company had a great time at the resort. We booked the lodge. Great memories were had here. Although we were limited to fire wood a great time was had by all of our attending employees. Thanks !

| "The Worst Customer Service" |

July 2007 - I was so utterly appauled by this establishment's customer service I wanted to write this review to warn the public NOT to stay at this resort. My experience all began when trying to make a reservation....first of all the lady that answered the phone didn't seem to know what I was talking about when trying to reserve a six person cabin which is clearly stated in their website, so she gave me the 8 person cabin. I had made these reservations 3 months in advance (I was attending a wedding in Boston Bar). She tells me I don't need to put my credit card down and if there were any problems they would call.
1 month passed and I had a sneaking suspicion that these reservations weren't made.. I call back, no answer, I write them an email no answer, I call again several times and finally get a call back. When I asked them about my reservation they had no such booking. So we try to book again and this time with a few rules.....(we booked for 2 days on a long weekend) Our establishment doesn't rent the 8 person cabin for 2 days on a long weekend, we could book that place for a whole week if we wanted, why dont' you stay longer, sorry sir we can't rent the 8 person to you but we will for the 6 person cabin. At this point I didn't care I needed to book at this place because of the wedding I needed to attend plus the 5 other guests that were flying in from all over.
3 days before the wedding we get a call from Blue Lake Resort indicating that we were double booked and our reservation had tagged us as "flexible" in when we were staying, which there was no such thing. They wanted us to rebook....I told them a piece of my mind! Their reason for the misunderstanding was that the booking was made on a small piece of paper and was misplaced in the books....nice establishment they're running up there!
