June 2008 - While on a recent drive from Alberta to Vancouver Island, we decided to stop in Chilliwack just outside of Vancouver. We investigated the Best Western Rainbow Country Inn online and booked our room over the Internet. Originally we could only book one room over the Internet but thankfully upon arrival, they had another room available for us. The person doing our check in was very helpful in getting us this second room. The rooms were large, clean and had comfortable queen beds. The bathrooms were the standard hotel size but were quite clean. And we received a discount voucher for breakfast at the hotel restaurant which was better than just having a continental breakfast option. The price of our rooms was reasonable and worth the stay. The hotel was located close to the highway and easy to find but it was difficult to locate a nearby gas station that sold regular fuel instead of just diesel. This is definitely a hotel used by the truck driving community.

July 2007 - What a great staff they have at this comfortable hotel. The check in was quick and the clerk was helpful with our plans to head out the next morning for the ferry to Vancouver Island. They were able to give us all the info we needed. Our room was a delight and quite large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The lovely soaker tub and extra towels in the bright and clean bathroom was a plus after a long day on the road. This hotel is located right off the highway but it was very quiet once you step in the door.
The beautiful dining room is built around a fabulous Atrium that has a real calming effect for meal time. Our waitress was so pleasant and helpful in choosing off their menu. We went for the roast beef dinner with all the trimmings and it was truly the best we’ve ever had.
They have a large indoor pool and hot tub which is also located around the attractive Atrium.
We look forward to our next trip that will include a stop at The Best Western in Chilliwack.

| "Very dog friendly hotel" |

April 2007 - Very friendly staff. Great hotel to stay in with dogs. Most hotels will only accept dogs under 20 lbs. This hotel welcomed my two medium to large size dogs enthusiastically (they are very well behaved). Hotel very near TransCanada freeway but extremely quiet. Beds comfortable - restaurant on premises. Very pleasant experience - will definitely stay again.
