March 2008 - While staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in North Vancouver, I opted to have a meal at the Pantry Restaurant located right in the hotel. I phoned down to the restaurant to make my order and the server was extremely friendly and helpful. I decided to try the beef and broccoli soup with salad and focaccia bread. The food arrived quickly to my room and everything was still warm. The beef and broccoli soup was a little bland but aside from that I enjoyed my meal. There was a large serving of fresh focaccia bread and the salad was satisfying. I noticed that they had a good selection of breakfast items which would be worth trying. And the meal was certainly priced appropriately. I would rate this restaurant as average in all qualities except service. The friendly service made the experience a bit higher than average. I would dine at this restaurant again.
