January 2008 - If you're in Vancouver airport, behind security, and you're looking for a quiet place to sit and have a bite, keep walking past Milestones... we left for lack of attention and weirdness of menu items... and headed for the back of the White Spot aka Medallist Bar & Grill. We had a four-hour layover but it just flew by in comfort in our cozy White Spot nook. Our server, served us promptly and efficiently; changed up our menu items without hesitation or error. The choices are varied, from simple diner-type food to more
adventurous Tuscan flavours or breakfast served all day.
We went with simple: A Sunny Start breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon, hash browns on the side and an order of Dippin' Chicken Tenders with a side of caesar salad -- all hot, fresh and yummy. Generous portions, too. Strangely affordable for airport food -- less than $25 lunch for two. Skip the Milestones, people!
