July 2008 - We went to this restaurant because it was recommended by my friend who is a gourmet cook. She was right on the money. The food was outstanding. You just wanted to keep eating the sauces. My husband had the ribs and pasta. He loved the pasta but wouldn't order the ribs again. I had the clams and pasta and would certainly order this dish again. In fact, we are dining there tonight and it is clams and pasta for me.
We went early on a weeknight so the service was really good and everyone was friendly. If you go on the weekend I would recommend reservations as the restaurant is on the small size.

November 2007 - Excellent customer service! Delicious food! Great wine selection! Very accomodating, even for children...Very attentive, I'll recommend it and go back for sure. Lighting was a little bright but they turned in down for us as soon as we asked. No Problem.

September 2007 - September long weekend is always so busy..... my family wanted to try something different, someone had mentioned Pico Bello to us so we decided to stop as we were driving by.
This is was the best Italian food we have had in a long long time. Their service, atmosphere and food itself was unbelievable.
We had ordered their Pizza, Fettucini, Penne along with appitizers. The presentation was remarkable.
It's a definete go back restaraunt to just relax and chat and sip wine over a remarkable meal.
I would have like to personally thank the chef.

July 2007 - We three ladies have lunch together at a different restaurant once a month. We decided to try the new Pico Bello Trattoria & Bar at#101 8556 120th Street Surrey, BC. We were glad we did and we were impressed with the clean, bright interior and were happy with the cool, air-conditioned premises on one of the hottest days in July.
Our host/server brought a pitcher of ice water and a basket of warm crusty bread with butter to our table.
To start, I ordered the Tomato Onion salad as did one of my friends -- our servings were a little feast in themselves with a generous plate of sliced tomato, kalamata olives, red onion and fresh basil and oregano with a delicious olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing -- we agreed it was yummy. The third member of our little luncheon group ordered the Tomato and Basil Crostini and told us it was very, very good. She was impressed and went on to have the Tuscan Minestrone soup which she pronounced delicious. My other friend decided on the Prawns Napoli which she also proclaimed delicous. I had the Smoked Chicken pizza with sundried tomatoes, basil, roasted garlic, tomato sauce and mozzarrella cheese. It was presented on a sparkling white ceramic platter. I noticed the selection of white dinnerware and silverware was classy; we drank our ice water from stemless white wine glasses which seemed to make the water taste even better. We had samples all around and loved this pizza. All the ingredients were very fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. Service was prompt, cheerful and polite. We will certainly return to this restaurant -- for the very good fresh food and the pleasant service and surroundings.
