July 2009 - With a six month old baby, it is useful to get to a good family dining restaurant once in a while. We had lumberjack slams, all day breakfasts, whilst our son ate all the cutlery. the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone with a family especially small children, the menu is great for kids. Although it is a bit noisy so it's best not to go if you have a headache or want a quiet restful lunch. Pleasant, fast service.

November 2008 - While visiting Vancouver one rainy weekend, we decided to visit Denny's on Burrard for a late morning breakfast. We were seated quickly and provided with a newspaper for our breakfast reading. The server was friendly and very quick with our orders. I don't think I have ever seen food delivered that fast. And he was also quick to refill the coffee cups at our table. I ordered only sides of bacon and hashbrowns as well as some orange juice. I received more strips of bacon than noted on the menu which was a nice surprise. My breakfast companions ordered full breakfasts and the portions were very large, almost too much food. My two simple side orders were just the right amount and the taste was acceptable. And the best part was the very inexpensive bill! All in all it was a typical Denny's experience and I would visit this location again if I am visiting downtown Vancouver.
