March 2005 - Richard's on Richard's is a great venue for live music. Not only do they tend to get good acts in, the layout and vibe works well for shows. It is not very big, but there is a fair-sized dance floor, and the wrap around balcony provides a great view of the stage. That said, there is no way I would step foot in there without a good show to see. As soon as the band finishes its last song they usually spin some lame club music and a bunch of hipsters start grinding on the dance floor, and thats when I usually call it a night.
