October 2007 - Stepping into the Templeton is like stepping back in time. Fully decked out in 50's style, most of the features are authentic, preserved treasures from that time, including milk-shake makers, coke fridges and other appliances you can see behind the counter, and gorgeous little personal booth juke-boxes just waiting for quarters! The one waitress running the show was very relaxed, friendly and helpful, supporting the laid-back, fun vibe of the place. The meals are a real full plate, and the hashbrowns with our brekkies were perfect. Skimming the menu, we decided that we wanted to return for dinner to try a couple of the healthy burger options before leaving Vancouver but sadly we didn't get the chance. Unfortunately we missed the Monday night free movie screening on the big screen too. The food is cheap, delicious and plentiful, the coffee is served in giant mugs, and we will definitely be back next time.
