October 2007 - Turning up at about 7.30pm there was a wait of about half an hour. The place was pretty small, dimly lit, very stylish and packed. We didn't want to miss out so we put our names down and went for a 20 minute walk. When we came back our table was not quite ready so we were ushered to the bar at the back, which, while keeping up with the funky atmosphere was also right by the toilet doors and everyone walking past almost knocked us off our stools. It was a tight fit. We ordered a couple of beers and they also brought us a couple of free soup samplers which were very tasty. Our table was ready about 10 minutes later and we had already decided on our orders from the menu while waiting at the bar, as our waitress expected. This was my first experience with the Tapas style and I probably wouldn't do it again with the large appetite I had that night. Based on the size and price of the dishes it could turn out to be a very expensive meal for hungry people. We decided to order just two dishes, which filled the gap, and go for a sandwich on the way home. The dishes were beautiful. We ordered the steak and the cajun chicken, which were brought out one at a time in the spirit of sharing. They were like works of art, and the taste was to die for. If the portions were a little bigger it would have been perfect.
