August 2007 - We arrived on the ferry to Prince Rupert and we were hungry! Driving down the main drag and came across Rain Dining Lounge, what beautiful place not expected in the far north a very elegant and beautiful room, we were seated by a very informative host whom turned out to be one of the owners, we were sat in a full wrap around booth and we ordered a glass of wine each and different wines as they had 25 plus by the glass just on the red menu, I looked over the menu to a wide selection of seafood from calamari to local Dungeness crab, sockeye salmon, Live oysters. Angus steaks and a list of fresh pasta, as a foodie I was in heaven REAL Demi with the steaks in the middle of or rather at the end of Canada. I could go on on and on but I will finish here if you go to Prince Rupert plan an evening at Rain request a booth dine and share all the plates so you can sample as much as you can the scallops and brass prawns are a must.
