by Ryan (from Lethbridge, AB) August 2008 - Downtown Gibsons in summer is a beautiful place to walk around. Along main street lies this little homemade type restaurant called Truffles. The lunches they serve up are very healthy and very flavorful. I had the Morocan Chicken wrap with a cup of coconut curry soup. Everything in the restaurant is freshly made everyday, and with choices from gourmet coffee, homemade desserts, as well as the fresh cooked lunches, it is definitely worth the stop. The staff kept the facility spotless, and prices were very reasonable. The coconut curry soup was very tasty, and the Morocan wrap was fresh, tasty and big enough to fill the gap. After our lunch, we ordered latte’s and had a monster cookie to go with our stroll around Gibsons. Two thumbs up to Truffles for their friendly service, fresh quality food and quaint atmosphere. Thanks Truffles for the great lunch and smalltown hospitality, we hope to visit you again one day!

by Twyla (from Lethbridge, AB) August 2008 - We visited this restaurant for lunch while touring around the Sunshine Coast. The food was fantastic! My husband and I shared two dishes. One was a veggie quiche with a house salad. The quiche was so fresh and moist. It was delicious. The other dish was a morrocan chicken wrap with a coconut curry soup. The wrap had a combination of rice, chicken, peppers, raisins and spices. It was served cold and it was very nice. The soup was a mild curry but still extremely flavourful. The atmosphere at this restaurant is similar to a small café or bistro. It is very casual and relaxed. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome there. She was so nice. The food arrived very quickly. We also purchased two cookies to take with us and we enjoyed them later that day as we walked around Gibsons. The cookies also tasted homemade with nuts and raisins and oats. They were soft and chewy. I highly recommend that you visit this restaurant. I know if I ever return to Gibsons, I would make a point of going back to this restaurant for lunch.
