| "Spectacular View" |

August 2008 - With a spectacular view of the harbour, we were seated at one of the tables near the window. The menu had a variety of different choices of seafood plates, pasta, fish and chips, and other various dishes. When I inquired about the seafood combination plate, the waitress wasn’t sure exactly what was in it. We also inquired about the house wine, and the waitress again was not sure on the house wines either. I decided to go for the fish and chips, as it seemed like a fairly safe choice. The choice of fish was between halibut or cod. I had a piece of each with the chips. The food was hot, and tasty and well presented. The atmosphere was clean but some of the electrical wiring chords were exposed near our seat. The price was reasonable and the quantity of food served was more than enough. Other than lack of knowledge of the menu, this restaurant was good with a fantastic view.

I appreciate the review & I can believe the lack of knowledge of the staff & have no one to blame but myself. I will look into the observation concerning the electrical wiring , thank you for the review

August 2008 - We visited this restaurant while we were staying on the sunshine coast. We went there for dinner with friends of ours. I ordered a chicken vegetable curry dish on rice and it was just ok. The food was not exceptional which was very disappointing. I found this dish to be flavourless and not very appealing to the eye. The chicken in the dish was somewhat dry as well. I also had a glass of red wine with my meal and it tasted flat and perhaps a bit old. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice as it was right on the water as the name suggests. We were there in the evening so the lights reflecting on the water were very nice. The prices were average and the waitress was nice enogh. The facility itself was a bit dated and not overly clean for my liking. Although the location of the restaurant was nice, unfortunately I was disappointed with my experience here (mainly due to the food) and I will not go there again.
