| "Great big group hotel" |

by Tanya (from Calgary) August 2007 - We stayed at the Hospitality Inn when we were in Kamloops for a soccer tournament. The hotel is well set up to accommodate big groups of people. It is a motel style with the rooms in 3 separate buildings. The rooms are fine although they are a bit on the small side. The hotel pool area is great. The hotel is on the hill and the pool overlooks the town making for a pretty view. Beside the pool is a big lawn which is big enough for groups to lounge in the sun or to play frisbee on. They have a couple picnic tables set up there and our group had a barbeque out there one night. The hotel staff were very accommodating and let us stay out there well into the night, even though we were quite loud. It was the perfect place for a team get together. There is a hottub and steam room as well located in one of the buildings close to the pool. These would be very nice in the winter but it was too warm for us to enjoy them much. The motel also shares a parking lot with a fantastic greek restaurant called Christos. The Hospitality Inn is a great centrally located family or team place to stay while in Kamloops.

| "Basic but good" |

by Lauren (from Calgary) August 2007 - I stayed at the Hospitality Inn with a group of friends in town for a soccer tournament. Apparently Kamloops is known as the Tournament Capital of Canada and it's obvious that the owners of this motel (as well as the local RCMP) are used to loud and rowdy guests. Despite the late-night partying, there were no complaints and when the RCMP did stop by, they were quite pleasant and seemed to just be making sure nothing too dangerous was going on.
We crammed four people into our smallish room. Some of the other girls were were with had larger rooms with more amenities, but ours was fine for a weekend stay. There was a fridge and a TV, so we could keep the beer cool and watch movies in the morning while getting ready. There was also a seperate vanity outside of the washroom, which is essential when there are more than 2 women saying in one room. The room was clean but not spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work but otherwise everything in the room was fine. Although I guess the somewhat flimsy bath towels left something to be desired.
There was a small pool on the property, which was fantastic on the hot days and also a hot tub, which was nice in the evening. Finally, there's a fantastic Greek restaurant in the middle of the parking lot. Defintely worth a try!
If you're looking for a cheap place to stay during a tournament (or other holiday) in Kamloops, the Hospitality Inn is definitely a decent bet.
