| "Clean and comfortable" |

October 2007 - While in town as a support team for my wife competing in the Okanagan International Marathon, we opted for a suite at the Best Western. The suite was quite comfortable and easily accommodated four adults and one three-year old. The fold-out sofa bed in the main area was very uncomfortable but the roll away cot/bed was surprisingly better for comfort. In comparison, the main bedroom was very roomy, comfy and had sliding glass doors that opened to a small patio on the edge of a green space. The small patio had a table and chairs. It was a nice spot for morning coffee or afternoon play area for kids. There was a well-stocked kitchen area that separated the two main rooms.
A complimentary breakfast was served every morning with standard continental fare as well as waffles and some other hot items. The breakfasts were actually quite enjoyable. The only downfall during our stay was the insanely loud pool area which was almost always occupied by the overly-energetic grade 4 & 5 boys attending a hockey tournament. This was no fault of the hotel but it was difficult for anyone else to find time to enjoy the pool amenities.
Overall we found the property very clean, staff accommodating and the price a little high but still reasonable.

October 2007 - On our recent trip to Kelowna for the holiday weekend, we decided to choose the Best Western. It was the right one and the suite we requested was ideal. For a family of four adults and one grandchild, it was more than adequate for us. The separate bedroom was quite cozy and the bed was very comfortable with a lovely duvet for a great finishing touch. There was a sliding glass door that went out to a small patio with a table and four chairs. Although the hotel is located right off the main road, it was a quiet spot to sit at, with no sign of the road. The kitchenette was well stocked and had a good size frig and stove. The main room was big enough for a sofa bed, which was not comfortable, and a roll away bed, which was comfy. There were two televisions, which were very welcome to us.
They have a large dining room for the free breakfasts that came with make your own waffles. There were also lots of cereals and fresh fruits. Many types of bread to choose from with a commercial size toaster, so there’s no waiting.
Although the rate was a little high, we would come back another time.
