October 2007 - I was in this place, in May, June and July and came back again Oct, and I would like to say that this is the friendliest bar in the town the staff however seem to be a bit new.
I met and have had a chance to talk with the GM or assit. Janitor as he describes himself, he says the pub is always in a state of flux tiring to make it better and cooler to go to....
well for my books your doing a great job...
see you in Dec on my way thru...for another great meal

September 2007 - Hello all fellow travelers,
I am from england, and have slowly worked my way across your country, along the way I have hooked up with lads and lasses from home and we were fortunate enough to walk into this old janitors pub. (this is how he described himself to us).
Any way awesome this place rocked, we came in for a drink and a sandwich, the food was marvelous the service was great it was enjoyable, until we found that they were going to play guitar hero the game than all bets were off...what a blast. the best spot I've been in in years and we know our PUBS!!
What a blast! thanks for making one of the last stops on my 2 yr journey one of the best...hats off to Chris, you ran that guitar show with class...hehehe
PS paint the can if you get a chance, don't know what the ladies is like but the door to the mens lets me know that they need doing.

July 2007 - My sister and I visited this pub at the end of July 2007, and had a great time. The staff were all amazing! The service was excellent. We had fun at one of their Karaoke nights. We are from the West Kootenay and found this place very warm and inviting, we felt welcome from the first moment we stepped in the door. We loved it there so much we went back the next day. Food was great, the portions were large, for a good price. The staff were very friendly, service was prompt and courteous. We will definitely go back to this Pub on our next trip to Kelowna. Thank you so much to All the staff at Ernie's, It was really fun!!!! Cheers.

July 2007 - Yep that just all i wish to say "never" never have i had better service, i have had them all here and they are all exceptional ...thanks abby, shannon and the other 2 that i have had. never have i had a bad meal here i have eaten here just about everyday while on vacation as my wife and kids shopped or were out on the trails. never did i have to wait for a beer or one of the bosses to acknowledge me, thanks ernie and his daughter and her husband sorry didn't get your names. never will i recomend that anyone who visits your lovely little town miss you pub (taveren)

May 2007 - ok, so we came into a event last night at ernie's the food was amazing and the service was exceptional. i have never had such a great time at a function or fund raiser hats of to you ernie you still got it.

May 2007 - All great attended a function last night, at the place Ernies place, i have never been in this pub before and i will definatly be back.....it was to say the least marvoulous to say the least down right unbelievable. The rib dinners they put out were out of this world......I hope that all of Kelowna starts patronizing this pub.
Ernie thanks so much for hosting this party, you still look the same after 20 yrs in the business. I'll be back

August 2005 - There for lunch on a friday as we had a coupon in the Entertaiment Guidebook and thought we'd try it out ... food was a disappointment with 3 of us rating average or less ... salad greens were definitely not very fresh, neither were the fresh salsa's or corn in the Santa Fe salad, burger was ok, rueben nothing to rave about (charged extra for the mustard too!) ... no complimentary refills for the expensive pop or ice tea ... the iced tea was all ice and just a few sips to drink for over $2 ... waitress, although very friendly and polite, not able or willing to rectify and make this customer happy.
