October 2007 - While staying in Kelowna, we ordered take out from the IHOP. We don't have IHOP locations in Alberta so it was a nice treat. The server who took our ordered was friendly, helpful and patient with the complicated order. We were told the food would be ready in 15 minutes and they lived up to this deadline. Two kids meals were ordered - pigs in blankets (sausages in pancakes with hash browns) and silver five (pancakes). I ordered the International Passport which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and two crepes. We added an extra order of dessert crepes - the cinnamon apple crepes with whipped cream were delightful! In fact, all the food was delicious and certainly satisfied our needs.
The order came complete with extra syrup and whipped cream. Nothing was forgotten. The price was reasonable and was justified with the amount of food. At the very least, we will definitely order from IHOP again and may even eat in next time we are in Kelowna.

July 2007 - After a sorry excuse for a hotel breakfast, we decided to get some real food and checked out the Ihop, an American restaurant which is not available in Calgary. The Ihop was extremely busy and full of customers. The restaurant was located along the main highway in Kelowna so it’s quick and easy access for residents and tourists alike. The staff at the Ihop seemed a little overwhelmed but still managed to handle the oncoming traffic of customers. After a 20 minute wait, we finally got seated and our server was more than happy to help us out. She was dealing with multiple tables at once but yet managed to have our orders ready on a good time. She even brought me over a newspaper while I waited for my food. I ordered the chicken Florentine and in my opinion, it was regular, nothing special. Although the lemonade I had was extremely good. The biggest drawback was the constant buzz of people, children and workers that filled the restaurant. You could barely hear yourself think.
