July 2007 - On the last day, before the journey back to Calgary, we decided to eat breakfast at Perkins. Just like the ihop, Perkins was located right on the main Harvey Road. It was a nice restaurant that was divided into two sections. It was also located inside a hotel, which made it really busy. The service to get seated at a table took a little more time than expected. The server, although she was nice, seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder. We got seated to our table, the environment was nicely kept and brightly lit. The food at Perkins was precisely portioned, and had a common Perkins taste. I had eggs, hash browns and toast with a glass of orange juice. The bread tasted great but the eggs and hash browns were like something I could easily make at home. Although Perkins hit the spot at that moment, the quality of the food and service would not be worth a visit for a night out when expecting a good meal.
