| "The wannabe king's meal" |

August 2007 - Spending the whole day at the beach in Kelowna made me and my buddy hungry for some buffet. The day before, we saw a restaurant called Buffet King so we decided to go there. The Buffet was a small restaurant with two employees working at the time. It took us a minute to get seated and once we were, it also took another couple of minutes before we actually received our drinks. The food and service was okay although the selection of food was very minimal. I wanted ginger beef, and they didn’t have ginger beef. I was also looking for some deep fried chicken and that as well was not available. There were a couple things I was looking forward to and they were not there. The food that I did get to eat wasn’t bad. You could tell that it was freshly made, had flavour and was filling. The restaurant was located right along Harvey for easy access as well it was very clean and organized. I would go back there to eat, only because as I was leaving, the food that I was looking forward to was being put out so I never got to try it. It kept me wondering.
