September 2007 - I've been to the Joey's in Kelowna a couple of times and have also been to one of their Calgary locations on a few occasions. While I've tried a few different things on the menu, on a recent trip to Kelowna I ordered my two favourite dishes, the Ahi Tuna Tacos and the Diva Salad. While the tacos are a bit messy, they are always delicious. The tuna always tastes fresh and the flavour goes really well with that in the aioli dip which is served on the side. I get the Diva Salad without the chicken but still think it tastes great because of the many other ingredients including cranberries, feta cheese and pieces of apple. The salad is meal-size so it's quite large and I wasn't able to finish it after my appetizer. I've always had very good service at Joeys and this visit was no exception. The server was fairly quick taking our order and bringing the bill. I also like that the interior of their restaurants are usually quite funky. I would definitely recommend Joey Tomatoes as a reasonably priced place to go for lunch or dinner.
