October 2007 - On a recent visit to Kelowna, my wife, three-year old daughter and I decided to try The Keg for a special dinner. This Keg location did not disappoint. We visited on a Saturday evening during the busy Thanksgiving weekend so there was a 15-minute wait. To our surprise, we were seated quicker than that. The hostess and servers were attentive, helpful and friendly.
I opted for the prime rib which was cooked to my liking and very delicious. My wife chose the teriyaki sirloin with an extra serving of asparagus instead of the potato option while our smallest diner had the mini Keg burgers. The freshly baked bread that arrives at the table prior to the meal is a big hit with our little guest. All our meals were extremely tasty with big enough portions that there were leftovers. The exceptional quality of the food and large portions makes the higher-than-average cost a little easier to handle.
As with most Keg locations, the decor was dark but very nice and clean. We will definitely visit The Keg again.
