| "Worth a stop" |

July 2008 - The entrance to the Twisted Tree Vineyards and Winery is right off the highway, about a two-minute drive south of the town of Osoyoos and only a few feet from the entrance to the NkMip Cellars winery (we actually missed the entrance to Twisted Tree on our first approach as the signage was a bit confusing; just watch for the large wooden gates on the left!)
Situated up the hill from town, Twisted Tree offers visitors amazing views of south Okanogan Lake and the their adjoining vineyards. The tasting facility is a newer building that is welcoming and tastefully appointed inside with a large bar and ceiling-high wine racks.
Our server was friendly and attentive and offered us a selection of free tastings, including some of the best red varieties we had tried in the region (of special note are both the Syrah and Six Grapes-a delicious blend of six different red grapes. Both are outstanding and worth the money! Twisted Tree prices it's bottles a little higher than other local wineries; expect about $25 per bottle.)
All in all, well worth the time!
