| "WORST WORST WORST!!" |

August 2007 - The Exterior looked very old and did not attract our family but we had to stay because this SUPER WORST X 8 was the only one with a room in town. No SURPRISE....
Dirty Tub, stained blankets...YUK!
The room and the beddings were smelly. Could hear water running from all directions all night long. Woke up with a back pain due to old mattress.
I'd stay eles where!!!!

August 2007 - I booked the Super 8 in Salmon Arm as a one-night stop-over on my way from Vancouver to Calgary. Although I chose it because it was less expensive than some of the other hotel chains, I was pleasantly surprised at a few of the little extra's that the management has thought about. First of all, there is a very comfortable reclining chair in each room - no more trying to get comfortable on the bed while watching TV. Also, most hotel chains use those flimsy shower curtains that tend to get sucked into the shower stall and stick to you while you are trying to shower. The Super 8 has installed shower curtain rails that bow out from the tub and heavy shower curtains that don't flap around. The result is that you have lots of space in the shower. Towels are soft and fluffy, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked and was relatively quiet. Continental breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. The food at Setter's Pub beside the hotel is very good and reasonably priced. I was a single woman travelling alone and was not uncomfortable eating in the pub on my own. I would stay there again.

February 2007 - We only stayed one night but found it to be surperb - we had a lovely, warm, cosy room.
We were able to have free continental breakfast which was fab - little begals, fruit, toast, muffins, coffee, hot choc, juice etc - very tasty and fulling and FREE!!
The price was just right not too expensive for the regular budget traveller.
Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - also the staff were very friendly, helpful and easy going!!
