November 2007 - On our recent trip to the coast, we stopped at Salmon Arm. The Holiday Inn Express was the perfect choice of hotel to stop at. It’s a beautiful new building built back off the main highway a ways, but very easy to find. There is lots of parking and easy access to the five storey hotel. We had a quick check in with a friendly and helpful staff. Our room with two queen sized beds was large and the beds were heavenly. The designer bedding that most Holiday Inn Express’s have adopted is so comfortable. That makes for a good nights sleep. The large bright and clean bathroom was a treat with their soaker tub and large shower head. That was the perfect touch after a long day on the road. The room had a frig and coffee maker and hairdryer.
The free buffet breakfast is in a large but cozy breakfast room with lots of choices. Of course their famous cinnamon buns are the favorite. The coffee was fresh and hot. This hotel is on our lets go back there list.
