May 2008 - On our recent trip through B.C., we decided to stop in the town of Sicamous at the Super 8 Motel. It’s a beautiful little town on the lake in the Shuswap area. The Super 8 is a difficult motel to find off the main street, but it’s worth the time and energy. I had gotten the directions from their web site which proved very useful. We got a quick check in with a friendly and helpful staff member. There is a small breakfast area by the desk with a micro wave that’s available at all times. We also had free high speed internet in our room. Our room was a good size with comfortable beds and the bathroom was bright and clean. There was a coffee maker and hair dryer in our room. Even with the construction of condos going up across the way from our place, it was a quiet and peaceful stay. There’s a lovely walk down by the lake and we took advantage of it. We would stay here again for sure.

May 2008 - On our way from Nanaimo to Calgary we stayed in Sicamous, we thought we would try out the Super 8 Motel because they were about thirty dollars less expensive than the other places we looked at. The front office was clean and the lady working the front desk was very friendly, when we asked if there was any places to get Chinese food she told us about one and gave us directions to the restaurant. The room had two queen sized beds and was fairly spacious. There was a coffee maker already in the room, which was a nice touch. Only problem is that there was no coffee with it, just sugar and coffee cream. The room was really clean with lots of towels. This hotel is off the highway a bit so it is quieter than others. I would recommend the hotel if you are looking for a good room for a good price.

September 2007 - The hotel was what I expected. Nothing out of the ordinary. The room was nice and quiet. I was disappointed at how the price I was quoted was NOT the price I paid....I had to pay all these extra hotel taxes and GST and it added a lot more to the price.
