July 2008 - We were very lucky to find this spot to stay while travelling on a holiday weekend. They had had a couple of cancellations but by evening they were full up. It’s very easy to find, as it’s just off the highway in Sicamous. This is the perfect area to stop while driving across British Columbia to Alberta. It’s almost halfway. A lovely fellow checked us in and was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are quite dated but they had everything we needed. There was a micro wave and small frig and we had free internet access. We had two queen sized beds and this room would be perfect for the travelling family as they were separated by the bathroom and small eating area. I also liked the idea of the window at the back of the room as well as the front.
We will definitely be stopping here again on our many trips back and forth.
