| "Delicious Chinese Meal" |

May 2008 - While on a stop in Sicamous B.C. lately, we were advised to try the Jade Restaurant for some delicious Chinese cuisine. Well, it was a great recommended place and we sure had a wonderful and delicious meal. It’s your typical small town restaurant building and very easy to find, just off the highway. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and she was helpful in our menu choices. My dining partner had dined here at another time and he had been very satisfied with the food. We opted to start with the hot and sour soup which was so yummy and perfect in every way. We have eaten hot and sour soup in many places, literally around the world, and this was definitely one of the tastiest. The chicken fried rice was a delicious surprise with strips of chicken breasts on top of the fluffy rice. The chicken balls were plump with lots of meat and just enough batter to make them a delight. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant on our next trip through

May 2008 - On our way from Nanaimo to Calgary we stayed in Sicamous, we were looking for a place to eat a late dinner and were directed to a great Chinese food place just off main street in Sicamous, we ordered chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken and shanghai noodle with beef. We were quite pleasantly surprised when the chicken fried rice arrived and had actual chicken strip pieces on the rice where you usually just get small pieces mixed in the rice. This was a great surprise. All the food we ordered tasted great and the three dishes we ordered were more than enough for two people, as the portions were a really good size. I believe this restaurant was closing but they stayed open just to serve us. And the service was friendly and quick yet we didn't feel rushed to finish our meals. I would recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Sicamous looking for a good place to eat.
