July 2008 - On a recent stay in Sicamous, we went looking for some good and hearty food for dinner. We found a wonderful spot on the river. There was outdoor seating but we were lucky enough to get a seat inside by the big screen tv to watch the first football game of the season. We also could watch the boats going by on the river. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu as it was quite varied for a pub. My dining partner chose the special of the day which was BBQ’d pork ribs with a loaded baked potato and a yummy Caesar salad. He said everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. I opted for the spinach salad. They had run out of spinach and suggested romaine and it was the best and largest salad I’ve had in a long time. It was loaded with bacon and mandarin oranges and a hardboiled egg. It was topped with the most delicious maple poppy seed dressing. It came with warm and very fresh tasting foccacia. This is a place we will return to.

I am delighted to hear your kind words. We have completely revamped our menu and kitchen from a couple of years ago and the response has been fantastic. While our Ribs and Steaks are always favourites our salads have been getting rave reviews also, especially our Caesar which made with fresh garlic. Thanks again and hope to see you again.
