| "The worst campsite i have been to" |

July 2007 - This campiste is a complete waste of the campers money. If you want to camp about 4 meters from the highway and have neighbours so close you could spit on them then this is the place to go. The owner was not at all personable to us. I thought i would at least get some respect after forking out an arm and a leg to camp there for the weekend but in reality i recieved the opposite. It seemed like the owner was only interested in accepting her permanent campers. The beach there is quite nice and the swimming is awesome, but unfortunately because of the owners behaviour ,me, or any of the crew i was with will ever be staying at Illahie campsite again.

June 2007 - Do Not Go To This Campsite. There is the constant roar of the highway traffic, no fires allowed, very strict policies about everything from your pets to any noise past 9pm. I repeat......Do Not Go To This Campground!!

May 2007 - Do not go to this campsite, they have a beautiful beach, but that is really all they have going for them, the water is not even good to swim in off their beach. All of the people we went with did get duck itch after getting out of the water.
There are many other nice places to stay in Summerland and the surrounding communites. Places where you will get treated like a human being and will not have to pay an arm and a leg for!!
