September 2007 - We reserved a beach campsite for September 14th weekend, I called ahead 3 times in the week to make sure I was reserved as they could not take a reservation with a credit card. I was told that they were holding the site for me and to call Friday just to make sure I was on my way. I also offered to do an email transfer to pay for this site as we were driving all they way from the coast after work so I wanted to be absolutley certain that I would get a site. I called at 8:30 am Friday and spoke to a man who confirmed our arrival and that we would be leaving around 6:00 and we would be arriving at approx 10pm, he said it was confirmed. I had done alot of work to get ready for this last trip of the season, and we left right at 6:00pm. My kids were all excited to stay on the beach, as they are booked all summer ahead so good luck getting a site on the beach during the summer months.I even had to have my little dog boarded as they told me dog was not welcom. When we arrived the lady who owns the resort was waiting as I had a friend who lives in Kelowna, call again just to make sure that we were still coming. When we got there she simply said" we don't have a a site for you" I could not believe it !After several minutes we decided to leave-we ended up driving to Vernon and finally found a room at 2 oclock in the morning. I would not recommend staying there.
