August 2007 - Location is in an interesting waterfront area of Nanaimo. Lots of gift shops, coffee shops, historical walks and waterfront walks 'on the doorstep'. The service was friendly and helpful, and a small problem with our room was solved quickly. The place is clean, and comfortable. We were allowed to keep our dog in the room, but no doggy extras (bowl, biscuits...) were provided. We paid $15.00 surcharge to have the dog in our room. We did not eat at the restaurant because of very limited vegetarian options. Lots of seafood on the menu. Free Parking.
