March 2008 - Fast Eddies is set up like a 50's restaurant with booth seating complete with juke boxes at the tables. My children had never seen them before and played with it the whole time we were there although they didn't like the music much - most selections were from the 80's. This was a very large restaurant with an upper and lower seating area. The waiter was very quick and friendly and there appeared to be an abundance of staff. The restaurant was not very busy when we got there but within half an hour it was almost full. The menu was quite extensive. We came for a snack type meal rather than a full dinner so we settled on a milkshake each and potato skins and chicken fingers with fries to share. The potato skins was a very generous portion. The chicken fingers were processed and not home made but were okay. The milkshakes, however, were done perfectly and topped with whipped cream! This wouldn't be my first choice if I was planning to meet up with friends for dinner but it would be fine for a family. They prices were reasonable and there was alot on the menu that would appeal to children. I would go back if I was in the area but I wouldn't likely go out of my way to return.
