| "Good food, huge aquarium in restaurant! " |

August 2008 - We went to this restaurant for dinner while staying at the resort here, Pacific Shores. The atmosphere as this restaurant was nice with a huge aquarium full of different types of fish and oceanic wildlife in the middle of the restaurant. We had made a reservation so that we could have a view of the aquarium since we were dining with our 1 year old daughter. She enjoyed watching the fish swim by. My husband and I were really looking forward to having a crab dinner and we were surprised when the menu did not have crab on it. Instead, I ordered the seafood pizza. It was very good, chalked full of various types of seafood (mainly shrimp), pizza sauce, some veggies and cheese. The portion was quite large giving me leftovers for the next day. The facility was very clean and modern and the waiter was friendly. The prices were reasonable and I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the Nanoose Bay area.

July 2007 - While staying at the Pacific Coast resort we decided to try their restaurant and it was no disappointment. The exquisite dining room is very large but it seem quite cozy to us. The decor is wonderful and the two huge salt water fish tanks were amazing to look at. Our table was at one of the floor to ceiling windows with a view of the ocean which was awesome. There is also an outdoor patio that in the cooler times is heated. We had a delightful and friendly waitress who helped us make a food selection, as everything sounded wonderful. I tried the crab cakes and they were so delicious. They came with a wonderful gourmet salad with a vanilla bean vinagerette that was a perfect topping. My dining partner ordered the steak dinner and was quite satisfied. The vegetable servings were large and very tasty, especially the fingerling potatoes..
This was a wonderful dining experience, although we did find it pricey, it was worth the expense.
