| "Don't Rely on Bus Travel on the Island" |

May 2007 - What use to be a good cheap way to travel on the island, is no longer. With infrequent trips, poor customer service, difficulty in finding information and limited service at many locations, the island has become a challenge for budget travellers to see. I love the island and remember the days, not that long ago, when one could rely on the bus to get you where you are going and when you wanted. Who knows why this happened but don't expect to get around this way? Budget travellers need to find creative ways to see this little paradise otherwise it is going to become the destination of the cruise ship crowd and the RV campers, and I suspect that will soon mean bye-bye paradise!
