November 2007 - This little restaurant is tucked away off the main street of Sidney and we would have driven right by it if we weren't looking for it specifically. It was a Saturday night and the place was pretty much full but they were able to take in our party of four right away. They had a large selection on the menu with all the sushi dishes you would expect. I ordered my favourite - tempura and my friend ordered her favourite - Takamaki sushi rolls. Neither of us were disappointed. My husband shared a platter for two with my friend's husband. The platter offered them an opportunity to try a little bit of everything, including teriyaki chicken, california rolls and tempura. They enjoyed the variety but found that for the price they didn't get as much as they had expected. Our server didn't speak very much English but that wasn't a problem. This wasn't the best sushi I have ever had but it was good and I would go back if I stayed in Sidney again. This is a family friendly restaurant and I am sure even the pickiest eater would be able to find something to eat here.
