November 2007 - Recently during a trip to Victoria we drove to beautiful Sidney by the Sea. We found an awesome restaurant that’s just a couple of feet from the ocean and we were able to get a window seat. The view was amazing and we soon found out the food was just as amazing. Our waitress was so helpful and very friendly. My dining partner ordered the steak sandwich and it came with unbelievably delicious sautéed mushrooms and on sourdough bread. He said it was mouth watering and done just as he ordered. I ordered up the beer battered halibut and chips. It was truly fantastic and the house salad was so fresh with a special raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The tartar sauce was also freshly made and it topped off my meal to a T.
There are lots of seafood dishes on their varied menu and we will be returning soon to try them all out.
Extra praise to our waitress, she was terrific.
