July 2007 - Long Beach Lodge caters to its hotel guests but does welcome others to eat in the dining room or the lounge. The lounge is where you get the best views so we picked a sitting area near the window. Seating in the lounge consists of clusters of big comfy leather couches and deep seated leather chairs situated around a small table. From almost any seat in the lounge you can see the beach and watch the sunset over the ocean. There are various game boards, newspapers and magazines set out to use. It is a very relaxing place to sit and the kids enjoyed themselves checking it out. When it came time for something to eat we shared all three types of pizza and a smoked salmon appetizer. The pizzas were very good as was the smoked salmon. The prices for food were reasonable in lounge, higher in the restaurant, but the price of wine was a bit high. This is a very comfortable place to spend some time particularly if you want to watch a beautiful sunset or visit with a group of friends.
