July 2007 - The Fin is a little place nestled under the trees located in a little shopping centre on the highway into Tofino. It is an easy walk from many of the resorts and is a great break from campfire cooking. Like most of the eateries in Tofino the menu is full of tasty and healthy choices. I don't know where the bread comes from, but the buns used for the burgers were very fresh. We tried the salmon burger, the chicken burger and the black bean veggie wrap. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. We did order yam fries but when our order was ready we were told they were sold out! This is an outdoor take out style eatery with tables set out under a gazebo or under the trees. Don't go here if you are in a hurry - this is a small establishment and each order is made fresh. But if you have the time, it is a great little place to check out.
