September 2007 - Possibly some of the best food I have ever eaten I got from this kitchen/trailer parked out in the woods. Its not as dangerous as it sounds. The place is totally legit, complete with a full restaurant and botanical garden. However, during the afternoon, they serve a simplified menu from a small trailer in the parking lot.
The menu has Japanese influences but is full of completely original dishes. I loved the spicy salmon chowder. The polenta fries were a true treat, but oh so very filling. Let this be a warning, it is very easy to over eat here because the dishes are packed so full yet so tasty that its hard to know when to stop.
Between everybody at my table exchanging taste for taste, I was able to sample most of the menu and have nothing negative to say about any of it. I guess it took a while to get our food, but it is easy to to deal with because of the beautiful garden setting.
