February 2008 - Awaking from our morning slumber hungry and wanting our caffeine boost, Mirage coffee shop became our first stop while we were enjoying our Victoria vacation. The Government street location was mere steps away from our hotel and as your enter the coffee shop you are greeted with an aromatic coffee smell. The coffee shop has table seating as well as stools at the windows and we choose that option and 'people watched' as we sipped our organic, fair trade coffee. Another delight was their ham and cheese croissant, which became my breakfast staple. They had also had a chocolate croissant for the chocoholics and a spinach and feta one for the vegetarians. Also if you order their latte or cappuccino, it comes complete with its own art detail on top. Mirage is definitely worth a visit and a good place to buy some organic coffee beans to take home with you as well.
